Organic Cornbread

Shopping List

1 cupOrganic Cornmeal
1 cupOrganic Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
2Eggs
1/3 cupExtra Virgin Olive Oil
1-1/2 cupAlmond milk (or 2% regular Milk)
1/3 cupGrade B Maple Syrup
1 TablespoonBaking powder
1 pinchSalt

Procedure

Oil a 9 inch round baking pan or cast iron skillet

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Blend all dry ingredients in one bowl, mix all liquid ingredients in another.

Combine the two other and blend until all dry ingredients are combined with the wet ingredients.

Pour into pan or skillet and bake for about 25 minutes.

Serves 6 healthy appetities.
